About this course
Short Courses are half day courses held on the Tuesday afternoon prior to the official start of the Annual Clinical Genetics meeting. These courses are focused on one particular topic and allow participants an additional opportunity to earn educational credits.

This short course will focus on the issues surrounding the increased use of NGS-based somatic mutation detection in cancer management.  Presenters will provide the learner a foundational understanding of the importance and use of NGS-based testing for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients with “actionable” somatic mutations.
