This CME Case Series reflects the work of molecular tumor boards by featuring an interdisciplinary discussion of cases that are subject to comprehensive molecular characterization using a variety of advanced technologies. In this session, brain cancer pathology research lead, Dr. Laveniya Satgunaseelan, Co-Lead of the Sydney Brain Tumour Bank at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse/Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Staff Specialist in the Department of Neuropathology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, will explore how tumor mutation burden (TMB) has emerged as an important biomarker in solid tumor testing. This webinar will present the underlying principles of TMB, its role across different solid tumor types, and challenges in TMB interpretation, together with pertinent clinical examples.

Target Audience

All medical and healthcare professionals and researchers interested in understanding cancer genomic testing and somatic and germline variant interpretation methods. This series is presented as a collaboration between ClinGen Somatic, VICC, and ACMG consortia.
