Alternative Pathway to Board Certification in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Training Program - Final Cohort 2024-2025
Details

There have been important changes to the educational cross-training curriculum for Boarded Molecular and Cytogeneticists. This final cohort provides the required coursework for those seeking cross-training in the track they are not currently Board Certified in.

🔹 Last Opportunity – Live LGG Mentored Cases (In-Person Required)
To complete this pathway, you must attend the 2025 ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting in Los Angeles. ABMGG is discontinuing this alternative pathway after 2025, and no future sessions will be offered. Live LGG Mentored Cases must be purchased separately (details at www.acmgmeeting.net).

📅 Important Deadline: The online bundled courses remain available through August 31, 2025, but without the required in-person component, you will not be able to complete the program.

⚠️ This is the final opportunity to complete this alternative pathway. If you plan to pursue this, you must attend the 2025 ACMG Annual Meeting.
